What is on the list
- A payment suspension rests on an allegation under investigation, not a finding. AHCCCS removes a name when the suspension is lifted, so the list shows suspensions currently in force.
- About 210 rows. Each row has the provider name, an NPI, the action type and the effective date. A provider with several NPIs appears once per NPI.
- Terminated providers are not shown in the AHCCCS provider search, but absence from that search alone does not tell you why.
How to check a name against it
- Open the current PDF from the AHCCCS Provider Suspensions and Terminations page.
- Search the document for the provider name and compare the NPI.
- Treat a name match as a potential match until the identity is confirmed with the publisher, using identifiers such as NPI, license number, date of birth or address.
Check the federal lists too
A state list covers that state’s program. The federal LEIE and SAM.gov lists apply everywhere, so a complete check includes them.
Check names against every list at once
Exclia checks your employees, contractors and vendors against federal and state lists, keeps a dated record of every check, and flags potential matches for your review.
