Healthcare Exclusion Screening Source Audit 2026
A reproducible look at how Exclia configures source collection. Three declarations, with the underlying observations available to everyone.
Exclia research · Edition 2026-10-02 · Sample: 3 source declarations · Funded and authored by Exclia.
This is a census of Exclia’s declared source registry at a pinned revision. It measures configuration: access methods, expected intervals and recorded blockers. It does not measure screening accuracy, employer practices or live agency availability.
Declared access methods
Each method appears in 1 of 3 declarations (33.3%). This small, implementation-selected sample does not represent the national source landscape.
| Method | Count / sample | Share |
|---|---|---|
| download | 1 / 3 | 33.3% |
| api | 1 / 3 | 33.3% |
| portal | 1 / 3 | 33.3% |
Source observations
Two of three declarations configure a 30-day interval; one configures 1 day. One of three records an explicit blocker. An absent blocker does not establish that a source is enabled or ready.
| Source | Jurisdiction | Method | Formats | Interval (days) | Grace (days) | Declared blocker |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| OIG Exclusions List (LEIE) | federal | download | csv | 30 | 7 | None recorded |
| SAM.gov Exclusions | federal | api | json | 1 | 1 | None recorded |
| Texas HHSC OIG Exclusions Database | TX | portal | xls|txt | 30 | 7 | Ships un-enableable: the artifact is a DotNetNuke postback portal that times out on TCP connect and was never archived; the GET-only SourceFetcher cannot express the form POST. See docs/product/import/sources/texas.md |
Include every SOURCE_REGISTRY entry at revision 071d45d15681ffe3028dd62670eee4e52509dfdf; exclude none. Each source counts once even when it declares multiple formats or URLs. Extract declared fields without network requests or production database access. Counts use all three declarations as the denominator, without weighting or inference.
Inspect the pinned input registryOnly public configuration is collected. No individual exclusion records, customer rosters, identifiers or screening outcomes are included. The extraction date is not a live verification date. Operational enablement and terms review were not measured; the Texas blocker is historical configuration text.
Exclia has a commercial interest in screening software. This edition has no independent external review. Its three sources cannot support claims about national coverage, compliance, false positives, accuracy or time savings.
The downloadable methodology includes field definitions, reproduction instructions and a proposed opt-in workflow benchmark protocol covering recruitment, consent, aggregate privacy, missing data and publication. No organization-level benchmark data has been collected for this edition.
