What is on the list
- A public search portal rather than a downloadable file; results reflect daily updates.
- DHS cautions that the list includes parties under other administrative actions, so read the action type on each result.
- Record the date and time of each search, because results can change from one day to the next.
How to check a name against it
- Use the DHS public exclusion search.
- Search the individual name and any business names, and note the action type shown.
- Treat a name match as a potential match until the identity is confirmed with the publisher, using identifiers such as NPI, license number, date of birth or address.
Check the federal lists too
A state list covers that state’s program. The federal LEIE and SAM.gov lists apply everywhere, so a complete check includes them.
Check names against every list at once
Exclia checks your employees, contractors and vendors against federal and state lists, keeps a dated record of every check, and flags potential matches for your review.
