SSN and EIN verification
SSN and EIN verification is the step on OIG’s online LEIE search that confirms whether a potential match is the same person or organization, by entering the Social Security or employer identification number you hold.
What to know
- The LEIE download does not include these numbers, so the online check is the only way to compare them.
- Record the date and result of the verification with the potential match.
